The Museum

This is stuff that my dear friend Jan did. Jan and her manfriend Mike recently bailed on NYC for Pittsburgh, where Jan's going to Carnegie Mellon for her MFA in illustration. It's a super-competitive program, but, as you can see, Jan's pretty good at what she does. There will probably be more stuff from Jan in the future.

First up are some cards that Jan made.

All four of these cards are actually from Jan to my buddy Tree, for his birthday back in January. We took Tree to Ace Bar and got him hammered, so he forgot the cards and 2.0's had them ever since. They actually made the move from her place in Brooklyn to my place in Queens, to our new place in Brooklyn. And Tree still has only seen them once, through glassy, whiskey-addled eyes.

The really funny thing about these cards is that Jan's actually pretty chipper.

This last one is a really big piece Jan did that didn't really fit on the scanner. And it's been folded for eight months (Jan used it as the envelope for Tree's cards). But it's pretty cool and seems to be chickens revolting against pigs. Why the protestors are chickens, I can't really say. But me likee.
