Ron Powlas is 23 and lives in a basement. He has been constantly overcoming heartbreak since the strip began, but is currently dating the lovely Mara, and is quite happy. Now if only he could do something about his job. Or Pete.

| Jen is recently turned 24, and went to collitch with Ron and Pete at Notre Dame. She lives on the Upper East Side with Lissa, and is currently dating a Mac genius, although she has a thing for Ron, and everyone knows. Except Ron. And she's mad at Ron right now, and really in love with her Mac Genius. It's complicated. |

Lissa is the eldest of the Five Buckers, and, since with age comes wisdom, she often finds herself offering advice to Jen and Ron. She's extremely hot, but has little patience for jerk-ass guys. Lissa also is quite good at softball. While typically the most grounded of the gang, Lissa is not above goofiness. Her younger sister got married this past summer, and she just broke up with Bill. Do not fuck with Lissa's martinis. |
Pete is crashing on Ron's couch after fleeing Chicago. He worked briefly in construction, but decided to abandon that to attempt some insurance fraud. Pete loves to skirt the law, which is why he's studying it on the sly at Columbia. He would like nothing more than to get it on with Lissa. Pete is currently dating Cece, a comedienne who does not take his crap. He thinks mustaches are romantic, and Mac-users are cultists. |
