Comic for Monday, December 5th, 2005

I have no idea what CD they're listening to, though.

Mornin', everyone. Not much today, as I am just quick whipping this out before heading into the office. I spent the weekend down in DC with E and RAW. It was an acronym-filled weekend, as I also spent time with an FBI agent, and found out that ND will be playing tOSU in the BCS. I'll go on at greater length about everything tomorrow, just know that the bus actually showed a decent flick on the way down - Spider-Man 2. It's a great-looking movie even on a bus TV screen, but, seriously, how does drowning the inexhaustible fusion ball in the East River solve anything? I don't get that.

Yeah, sorry for the brevity, this is what you get when I leave town. Oh, by the way, through unlucky coincidence, this is kind of a punchline lift from a Questionable Content that ran last week. I friggin' hate it when that happens.

Anyone going to Tempe?

Bullfrog -- Monday, December 5 2005, 10:26 am

I think Sweaty might be. I'm holding out for next year, when the Irish make their return trip for the title.

The ball of yarn on the arm of the chair would fall off if Jen were actually knitting. Just a thought.

Bullfrog -- Monday, December 5 2005, 11:43 am

Then Jen is faking knitting, since I'm incapable of error. Duh.

2.0 -- Monday, December 5 2005, 11:54 am

Oof.

E -- Monday, December 5 2005, 11:54 am

MNP: Does this mean you can get Mr. MNP to Tempe, or is he going to Miami?

I would also like to reiterate how much I despise OSU.

It's - yet again - cold in my office, and I just went to Simply Recipes to see what was up. Dear God, does this ever look good on a cold day:

I was under the impression that Jen's left arm remains completely stationary while knitting, and the rest of her body simply moves to compensate.

Whatever anyone chooses to believe with the knitting thing, just make sure it's whatever makes me look as good as possible, please.

I think we're going to have to skip bowl games this year. Mr. MNP is pretty pissed about having to play not-ranked Florida State just b/c of the ACC being so horrid at Football. So the household football showdown will have to wait until next September...anyone want to meet at the Penn State game next year?

Ben now responds to both the interlocking ND and the leprechaun with a "Go Irish!", although it comes out a little bit like "Go Walrus". We thought about concentrating on things like counting and the ABC's, but then we straightened out the priorities.

That is some good baby-raisin', Mikey.
