Re: National Geographic, check out this funky hieroglyphics translator they've got going on. Way better than Esperanto.

Big Lost finale last night - I liked it, but last week's episode was better, I think. Pretty excited that there's nothing I'll feel the need to watch on TV for quite a while now.

I got my hair cut the other day in preparation for the beginning of the true Weddingpalooza. Having an iPod and a subscription to MLB's GameDay audio, I tend to protect myself from crap music. At the barbershop, this task is difficult. They had PLJ or KLite or something on, and back-to-back was Elton John's masterpiece "Can You Feel the Love Tonight" from the Lion King, and Ricky Martin's "Livin' La Vida Loca." I had forgotten how bad the latter was. It's mind-numbingly bad. Of course, the Russian lady cutting my hair did a little dance to it while searching for an attachment for the clipper.

By the way, every time I get my hair cut here, they carefully brush it into a shorter version of Dolph Lundgren's hair in Rocky IV. What the hell? I come into the shop looking dissheveled as all hell, and they think this is how I'm going to wear it outside? And then they offer me gel. I didn't hear what the guy was mumbling to me one time when I was still in Queens, next thing I know, I come out looking like Pat Riley. It was horrible.

I'm sure you'll all be very impressed to know that I shaved seven seconds of my time in Minesweeper's Expert level - 165. Can't touch this.

I noticed this, but I wasn't sure what BD's kid's name was. He called her 'Alex' the other day, which is Mike's kid, and I thought it weird that there would be two Alexes in the strip. I'm talking about Doonesbury, by the way.

Wow, Dylan's touring minor league ballparks this summer. That's so cool.

The Houston Astros are 2-21 on the road. How is that even possible?

Tomorrow's strip goes up at five-ish today, if you're the sort who can't wait 'til Christmas.
