Comic for Thursday, May 19th

Peter Travers, who annoys the hell out of me, dislikes Revenge of the Sith.
Wow, apparently the No Child Left Behind Act allows the military access to high schoolers' private information for recruitment purposes. I was wondering what the children weren't left behind from, since it clearly has nothing to do with their education.
I'm like a yo-yo that's being beaten with a baseball bat these days. I had so much work at the office that I alternated between insane stress-case and blissfully untouched by it all, because I was so busy there'd simply never be an end to it, so why worry? I recovered from that with a relatively easy yesterday morning - got the car towed to PepBoys, rolled in to work a little late, took care of some things. Then, PepBoys called and told me that my car, which I paid maybe $750 for, needed $400 of repairs before they'd even look at the electrical system. This more or less sent me into a paralytic state, during which I spoke to my father and we formulated a plan of what to do, and then I forgot it because I'm more or less a total mess right now. Cars are a grand, total mystery to me. I wish to God I had paid more attention when my dad tried teaching me about belts and the like back when I was twelve (or, actually, been interested in - it wasn't so much that I spaced because I'm ADD or something, I just don't find the inside of a car interesting at all).
Hm, I got dragged off somewhere in the middle of that story. It's Thursday morning as I write this, and I have no idea where I was going with that. Oh well. Hopefully, I'll have some time today to string together some thoughts for a post tomorrow - or take lunch, one or the other. Haven't really been able to do either all week.
