Comic for Friday, May 13th

Happy Friday the 13th, everyone. Go rent a slasher flick and get a big ol' tub of popcorn tonight. I personally recommend any of the first three, and Freddy v. Jason. They're all pretty enjoyable. The first one has Kevin Bacon in it, too. You may be shocked to learn this, but he plays a teenager who has sex and then gets killed.

By the way, this is the martini glass Ron's holding, since it's not clear from my drawing (always a humbling admission). And, yeah, so it's from Crate and Barrel and not Target. Screw you all.

I never should've had Ron and Lissa both wearing red in this storyline - that's way too much red in each panel. Well, not the fourth, but in the first three. Especially considering they're still at Target most of next week.

The Times had an At Home with Caleb Carr, author of the Alienist, which I promised a book report on back in October. Sorry about that, but at least you can read about the author, who is misanthropic, and lives up in Rensellear County, and whose father killed a guy.

Crownover, whom I haven't seen in over a month, I just realized, sent me this series of correspondences from the Morning News, which is funny and baffling at the same time. It involves Rye, NY, which is the home of Di, whom I also haven't seen in over a month.
