Seriously, this ought to be the last of the screwed-up updates for a while (well, I guess tomorrow's is screwed-up, too). I have a bunch of weddings to go to in May, but by then, probably everyone will have stopped reading this, anyway.

Anyway, didn't have much time to write an entry, so I'll just make a quick few notes before heading off to DC. We're splitting time between E and RAW's places, as my friends kindly put up with me being a dillhole and forgetting to actually let them know this until the last minute. Whoo, go me. Apparently, it will be cold and windy and snowy and we likely won't be let anywhere near any place with cameras, but, I don't know, I feel like this is important, so. Everybody wish real hard that we don't get thrown in jail!

Random cool news: The Catholic Church in Spain is down with condoms. Between that and the ETA saying they're open to talks, Spain's starting to sound like a right inviting place. Let's all expatriate there! Oh, wait, they're getting rid of the siesta. Mebbe not.

Lauren sent this to me, and it's about the damned zaniest thing I've ever seen. Boycott Liberalism - this site will tell you how! I don't think it's in the least bit telling that these guys call for the boycotting of practically every news outlet in the country except for Fox, and every major newspaper except for the Post and the Wall Street Journal. Also, if you like horror movies, you're SOL, since the majority of the grisly ones these days are distributed by Lion's Gate, who distributed F9/11, so.Ebert & Roeper? Bad, and not just because of the quality of reviews you get. Good news, though. NASCAR, for no clear reason, is good to go. (I guess because it's popular down South? I mean, technically speaking, there's nothing strictly conservative about NASCAR.)

Anyway, so, off to DC with me and 2.0. I wanted to make a protestin' playlist for Polly, but didn't get to it. I already have one called It's OK to Hate the Government, so I guess I'll go with that, although I wanted to tack on Le Tigre's New Kicks track. (I guess that should pop-up an .mp3 track from their site... I probably screwed it up, though.) Barring police brutality, I'll be back Monday, with pictures to go up sometime next week.

Huzzah!
