Yep, they haven't changed.

Posted: 7:20 am, Friday, June 26th

I can't believe Office Space only opened to four million dollars at the box office. What a great flick.

My birthday was fucking deadly this year. Do not step to the power of my thirty-first! A second tip to Ebert in two posts, but his tribute to Jack-O is great. I'm not a super-huge Jackson fan, but I am totally taken aback by the fact he's dead. Weird as he was, he seemed timeless. Which is weird, because I kind of thought he was going to crumble in front of us a few years back during the trial where he unveiled his new "nose".

The New York Times would like for you to be fucking wasted this summer. As a first-year teacher anticipating enjoying his first-year teaching summer, New York Times: I salute you!

Ugh, Transformers 2.

Alright, last day! I will be able to post at greater length starting on Monday! I know this will disappoint a few, but for my own sanity and the sake of my marriage, I'm going to keep to a 3-a-week schedule over the summer. I'll be experimenting more with the art and stuff, and there will be more coherent storylines and what-not, so hopefully it will all balance out for you guys.

"So, Peter, it says here you've been missing a lot of work lately."

"I wouldn't say I've been missing it, Bob."

Great punchline in today's strip, Bullfrog. Happy Belated!

Pat S. (aka Burgh Homer) -- Friday, June 26 2009, 11:27 am

Happiest man at yesterday's news: Mark Sanford.

Most unhappy: any Iranian protester.

What a strange media week. How did the "Wacko Jacko" NY Post handle the big news in today's issue?

Joe B -- Friday, June 26 2009, 12:37 pm

Happy B day. Just had mine 1 week before. As a kid, wasn't it great having birthday or Christmas every 6 months?

Pat S: Over somebody's shoulder I saw a Post inside page headline letting us know that MJ will always be remembered as a perv. Nice. They could wait a day, couldn't they?

Billy Mays is dead. Rough week!

I suppose pouring a container of Oxy-Clean would be appropriate for Mr. Mays?
