Ups to Tree for passing this along. I forget that Ebert is still the king at hating a movie. My kids are super-excited over Transformers 2. I've seen snips of the first one several times, and I've yet to be able to figure out what the fuck the robots are made out of.
Kotaku likee the new Wii Sports, which is always fun to know, and the Mario Brothers game. Yay, good games for the Wii.
2.0, 51, CK and her fella and a few other friends of ours (and I) all hit the Baracklyn Cyclones game yesterday. 2.0 texted me while I saw wasting away in my Shakespeare class that some people had been waiting on line for a bobblehead since seven in the morning. Undeterred, my lovely wife got us a Barack bobblehead despite arriving at five thirty in the afternoon. They're not numbered or anything, so she basically got the same bobblehead as those freaks who waited all day for a single-A game. Speaking of the game, it was about the best played single-A game I've ever seen. The right fielder for the Hudson Valley Renegades was actually quite good!
The Ninjaconsultants have been hitting the morning shows!
I'm sure this is surreal even if you don't know them, but, man, this is the weirdest thing I've ever seen. They look fantastic. And weightless! There's a few more videos, read by Brits and Canucks, available on their wedding site.
I was listening to I'ma Flirt yesterday, and realized it had been two years since I'd first heard it, which could only mean a new R. Kelly album was on the way. And, sure enough... I didn't read that article yet, but did notice this line, "To drive this point home, Kelly sings over recent tracks from T-Pain, Jeremih, and The-Dream, singers who have built careers atop his innovations." There's a hip-hop/R&B/something-or-other star named "Jeremih"? Great, another way for my kids to mis-type my e-mail address next fall. "Oh, Mista, *dat* how you spell it? That wack, Mista." I guarantee you at least one of my kids will recommend that I change the spelling of my name because everyone knows it's spelled Jeremih. I guarantee you. (Hat tip to Wikipedia for its handy pronunciation guide - the fuck?)
I was trying to get a nice little treat together for you today, but an automated program is being slow getting me my password. So instead, I'll leave you with the warm fuzzies one can't help but get from the Goat Fuckers dropping their third straight. Witness a man's plunge into madness on last night's YFSF thread.
Goddamn, I think I age tomorrow.

SCIENCE BE PRAISED!!!! - that was pretty awesome.
Bullfrog -- Wednesday, June 24 2009, 11:30 am I also liked "Science be praised!" I may start using that.
Geez, I totally meant to fix Bob Apodaca's name. I didn't even mean to go with Apodaca. Who was Kramer's friend on Seinfeld that he would reference a lot? I had my research monkey on it while I was drawing this and he failed and I never got a chance to look at it.
Bullfrog -- Wednesday, June 24 2009, 11:32 am Bob Sacamano! God, what'd my research monkey *do*, anyway? Took me one Google.
crownover -- Wednesday, June 24 2009, 11:58 am great pumpkin sneakers! i want.

WOOHOO!
Miyaa -- Wednesday, June 24 2009, 03:02 pm 1. Ebert is at his best when he's bitter.
2. I wonder what would take two Googles to research?
3. Would you rather be in the Wilds of Illinois or Gary, Indiana?
4. Science Be Praised! That would make a nifty T-shirt, if Bullfrog was ever into such shill.

Miyaa -- Thursday, June 25 2009, 08:50 pm Ed McMahon(midnight yesterday), Farah Fawcett(this morning), and now Michael Freaking Jackson (this evening). Bullfrog knows how to make his birthday very eventful, indeed.
Is it too early to have a 21 40 ounce salute?
