Comic for Friday, April 10, 2009

I've been watching a lot of TV lately.

Posted: 9:05 am, Friday, April 10th

Short one today, guys, because I'm up on the farm and have a bunch of chores I need to do today. I'll have you know that I took 11511 steps yesterday, over 7000 of which were aerobic in nature. WHOO. I also slept the entire three hours from Port Authority to Albany on the Greyhound. So that's pretty sweet.

Anyway, the one thing I want to make sure and say is that my April Fool's Day thesis from last week was disproven. April Fool's Day is actually more aggravating on the internet than in a public school. The kids would say stuff like, "Mista, I'm cuttin' your class. Nah, April Fool's!" And then they'd cut anyway, because they cut all the time and have no short-term memory. The internet says stuff like Pedro signed with the Orioles that someone brings to my attention a week later. Internet wins.

Explaining the strip: 2.0 and I have been catching a lot of Project Runway lately. I kind of love Tim Gunn and wish he hung out in my classroom just to encourage me.

Have a happy Easter if that's how you roll, leave a seat open for the prophet if that's your thing, and eat a Cadbury Cream Egg if neither of the above apply. Hot-cha-cha.

BF: it says "Were you there" at the top of the browser; is that a sweet Good Friday reference? I hope so.

Yes, yes it is. One of my favorite hymns. I like the solemn Good Friday stuff.
