Comic for Wednesday, April 8, 2009

I'm watching the MLB Network's - I don't know, is this their answer to Baseball Tonight, in the old days when Baseball Tonight was watchable? What asshole thought replacing Jayson Stark with John Kruk was a good idea? Anyway, yay, Sox win. Always nice to start a season with a win.
In our Fourth Estate Death Watch, I honestly did not think the Globe had a shot of being next. Damn. I recommend getting rid of Shaugnessy as a cost-cutting move.
I am super-jazzed about the Star Trek movie coming out in a month.
Wow, I have almost nothing to write about. My spring break begins today, and, happily, I think I caused a wee bit o' brouhaha right beforehand. So I'll try to manage that today and then hopefully get to my softball game, although that's suddenly looking dicey. Le sigh... I'm going upstate for some of break, starting tomorrow. There may or may not be a Friday strip - check the comments, because I'll have *some* web access, just not sure how much - and then, I dunno, happy Easter!

Miyaa -- Wednesday, April 8 2009, 10:11 am Wait, you're confusing Harold Reynolds for John Kruk?
And as I understand it, Jayson Stark felt uncomfortable being on set, so that's why the change was made. He's a reporter, and he'd like it to stay that way, reporting on the road.
Coach -- Wednesday, April 8 2009, 11:28 am Dicey?! DICEY!? I don't appreciate the lack of commitment to softball. You may find your ass riding the pine...
