Setting up for failure!

Posted: 8:30 am, Wednesday, January 28th

Sorry for the lateness, gang. If you caught my comment on the old strip, it's Regents week here in New York, and the kids are all taking state exams at different times of the day, so my schedule is pretty weird. I roll in at noon today and bail at six fifty. I was zonked last night, so after getting home from my crazy-ass children's lit class (psycho-sexual readings of faerie tales, say what!), I went to be at like nine thirty. And this was after falling asleep on the couch right after some pizza. I figure I was fighting a little sickness or something.

But I'm back to fighting shape right now, and after a shower, I may crank out another strip, because my schedule on Friday is back to normal (just still no kids).

While I may be tired, at least we know I'm not demented. Also, I never played tackle football, so the brain is in relatively good shape until someone does a drinking study this week.

Big ups to CK, now knows as the award-winning CK.

Didn't I have stories? I thought I had stories. I guess I'll settle for a slew of birthday wishes - Danimal, E and Spacegirl all have rolled the odometer forward this week, on Monday, yesterday and today respectively. The stars will unalign after today and I'll go back to not having to worry about calling people or anything for another few weeks.

Alright, have good days, crowd.

A book that will please both the Jane Austen fans and the brain-eaters in the room: PRIDE AND PREJUDICE AND ZOMBIES!

The instant you can give sign-off on that as not being a total waste of my time, CK, please do so.
