Rob: The Show, for the newer folks in the house, is the one-woman off-Broadway show performend by Ron's ex-girlfriend Kelly (Starbucks Girl, and she actually *was* flirting with Ron). It used to be off-off, but seems to have taken off.
I burned the bloody fucking hell out of the roof of my mouth on some pizza last night, and coffee is rather painful to drink right now. This more or less has ruined my morning.
Oh, speaking to that, I missed Lost yet again last night. Apparently, Wednesday nights worked much better for me. No matter, just have to watch it on the web again. I'm interested to see what Bunny Locke and Kate were up to this week, but no spoilers, please.
Why did I miss Lost to burn my mouth on pizza? We hit the galleries in Chelsea for some art and free vino. The vino was terrible, the art was a little better than that. We saw some Pratt friends of 2.0's at the Fay Ku show - I like her stuff - and there was some paintings on 25th that we kind of liked, but I can't remember the artist's name. There was a Chinese show that had some OK stuff in it, too, also on 25th. I'd find the exact galleries, but unfortunately my time on this earth is finite, and the amount of galleries in Chelsea are not.
C is for cookie.
Our friends the Ninja Consultants moved into a smaller apartment recently, and had a box of free stuff at their housewarming last weekend. I love free stuff, so I came away with an old Fox Trot collection, which reminded me that Amend is still doing Sunday strips. I tripped through the archives a bit yesterday. I loved Fox Trot back in the day, and it's still quite excellent, but nobody is capable of pseudo-mailing it in like Amend. (Maybe me, but I'm not syndicated.) Still, there was some pretty good stuff the last few months, this one especially.
Alright, those of you who are workin' for the weekend, your labors are at an end. Holla.

Strange ep. Not sure how I feel about it yet, but I shan't spoil it for you.

crownover -- Friday, March 7 2008, 09:48 am don't forget daylight savings this weekend -- boo to losing an hour, yay to more daylight....
crownover -- Friday, March 7 2008, 10:41 am i think this is something Ron would like - http://gawker.com/365129/how-to-flick-off-a-hummer
Dan -- Friday, March 7 2008, 11:27 am The only thing I like about the spring DST is that all I need to do is hit one button on the digital clock to move it ahead one hour. In the fall, I have to hit the hour button like eleventy billion times to get it to one hour earlier, because I have a lame-o clocko.
Miyaa -- Friday, March 7 2008, 12:05 pm Boo that Daylight Saving Time is much earlier this year than in previous years. Yay that the only thing I have to adjust is the hour adjustment on my car's clock. Everything else is pre-programmed to change automagically.
So, who's up for Wyoming? And Pennsylvania? And a redo of Florida and Michigan? (Why is it that all sorts of voting problems seem to reside in Florida? First hanging chads now this.)
e -- Friday, March 7 2008, 02:01 pm How can you boo DST? Sunlight until 7 p.m. is worth way more than one hour on a Sunday morning!
Bullfrog -- Friday, March 7 2008, 02:18 pm I'm glad everyone's explained how this is going to work to me. I had a script ready for what will evidently be the fall time change. I'm an idiot.
The Thouroughly Unpleasant One -- Friday, March 7 2008, 02:41 pm As an unpleasant one, I've always thought of this as Daylight Wasting Time and I can't wait for time to start this weekend.
Miyaa -- Friday, March 7 2008, 03:49 pm e: Because it just seems to early for DST to be kicking in. That's all.

Gift idea, obviously. It's a shame that Bullfrog's wedding has passed.
