That's really all the insight I have as to the primaries that are tonight. Hell, I only just yesterday found out that it's only the Republican primary in Michigan today. Well, damn. I hope Romney wins that one just to keep him in the race longer and keep those waters muddied for the bad guys.

The big ups today is that Tree turns the venerable and ancient age of 30. Ye gods, the man is old. Just turning into dust before our very eyes. Actually, no, he's spry as ever, just he's having the hardest time of any of my friends coping with the impending fourth decade of life, which about 90% of my friends will enter this year. To celebrate, he's having another bullshit spelling bee this weekend, and I swear to God, if some blonde gets the word syzygy again and is allowed to trade it in for fucking carrot or something, I'll just demolish the bar. Tree, happy birthday, son. Let us know about the brave new world.

The other big news is a few days old, but I only finally got around to getting the pictures off my camera yesterday. On Friday, 2.0 and I swung by Professor Thom's to watch a little of the World Series DVD and then see the World Series Trophy.

Here it is, entering the bar. Funny thing about bars, you never really see what color their walls are unless you take a picture. I never would've guessed Thom's is 70s yellow inside.

I had the camera from my office with me, and it's several years old and has a long shutter delay, so this is as good as I could do. I have no idea who that girl is. But it was right at this point where I decided I should touch the trophy, which I did. With my left, drawing hand. So if the strips this week look a little better, maybe it's the power of the Sox rubbing off on my drawin' hand.

Hillary looks like she wants to eat our brains . . . . BRAINS!!!!!!!

I like the caricatures quite a bit. A new twist for Five Bucks.

And all those glowing eyes in the first picture are Yankee fans realizing their contract to the Mephistopheles is about to roll over. Good god does that look freaky.

I'm surprised Jen still has the Hat.

No way, man, Professor Thom's is Sox territory, through and through.
