All sorts of trouble up in this piece.

Posted: 2:00 pm, Tuesday, January 16th

Man, having nothing but trouble with this today. For some reason, when I saved this as a .gif, the picture of the Glamour cover in panel two came out looking like utter crap. But saving it as a .jpeg gets rid of the transparency and gives you this lovely white border. I decided the white border was the lesser of the evils. The only problem is that then I screwed around long enough on my lunchbreak to where I only have a few minutes to get anything *else* up, so you're still getting ripped out of a complete post. Well, no one really wants to hear too much about my weekend anyway, I'm sure.

I find the imminent demise of TRL to be amusing.

I haven't trumped it in a long time, but Forgotten NYC is probably the absolute deepest site on the web about Gotham. You could kill hours just looking at the awesome old shit this dude has found to photograph and research (for instance, the excellence that is the signage of Coney Island). He's got a book out, too, which I totally meant to get with a gift certificate I received for Christmas, but forgot about and got another DeLillo, instead.

I began thinking about painting up my laptop per the instruction of this site, but then decided it's too risky to disassemble my computer like that. Then I remembered, the fucking thing isn't working right now, anyway...

I have other stuff - in fact, I have something I really want to get to eventually - but work calls. I'll end here, and thanks for bearing with me, gang.

I'm finding it hard to believe that Pete gives a good goddamn about post-consumer waste. I do believe my heart is warming to him!

Bullfrog,

Mr. Obama is officially in play.

2008 is going to be very interesting...

Wood -- Tuesday, January 16 2007, 02:23 pm

Got an email from the ND Mendoza School. http://www.nd.edu/~mba/application_results Its cheesy but I cant stop hitting refresh. Regardless, I thought you all would be amused.

Bullfrog -- Tuesday, January 16 2007, 02:35 pm

Hey, congrats, Wood. Everybody! Wood's hosting the tailgater for the next few years!

I really hope they have a version of that they send to the non-admitted students. I'm envisioning Hungarian funeral dirges and pictures of the BC campus.

MNP -- Tuesday, January 16 2007, 03:18 pm

Being dense here...who's the girl in the Tuesday comic?

Bullfrog -- Tuesday, January 16 2007, 03:25 pm

That's Cece, the girl from the comedy club that Pete started dating in early December.

RAW -- Tuesday, January 16 2007, 03:29 pm

They probably just send the non-admitted applicants a link to the Notre Dame MBA tailgating video.

Bullfrog -- Tuesday, January 16 2007, 03:36 pm

Oi, *that* effin' thing.

e -- Tuesday, January 16 2007, 04:19 pm

excellent admissions notice

Bullfrog -- Tuesday, January 16 2007, 04:39 pm

Hey, the 585 made the Times.

Wood -- Tuesday, January 16 2007, 04:50 pm

Thanks for the kind words. Now i just need to figure out how to get tickets to the football games.

Given the ice storm i imagine many bored people playing a lot of yuker in between snowmobile rides to wegman's. Which is the same thing as summer in rochester.
