Comic for Monday, January 1st, 2007 Posted: 11:00 am, Monday, January 1st Happy New Year's, everyone! I was just about to write a whole bunch of stuff, but it dawned on me that probably not too many folks are checking their computers today. So I'll just go ahead and start in on tomorrow's post, instead. I'll just quickly explain this strip - Fox Trot, as I mentioned a few weeks back, has ceased publications of daily strips (with Saturday's, right here). Fox Trot's always been a favorite of mine, and is the only daily strip that I've bought a collection of in probably ten years now, so I figured I'd throw a little tribute together. Of course, I'm not at the office, so I can't scan in one of the coffee-tea strips that this is based on, but I think you can pretty much figure it out, no? Anyway, see you all back here tomorrow when we pick up the pieces of our holiday and settle back into the slog of the workaday world. Of course, she also had a small shrine built to the caffeine molecule, complete with a little "ball and tube" version of the sucker. You could hear her heart beat from half a room away.
