Play ball!

Posted: 7:41 am, Monday, April 3rd

Not much to add to this one - sorry for the non-post down here, but I was in DC runnin' yesterday and then on a Chinatown bus for most of the rest of the day. I'll be back tomorrow. Enjoy quasi-opening day, everyone. Go Sox!

you should have just stayed home...

The wonders of the Chinatown bus. I took that so often in the fall that I memorized the rest stops. The best one is the one in Maryland with the Popeye's, Burger King and Pizza Hut. Mmm, Louisiana hot sauce.

This was the first time I'd ever taken it - I usually go Greyhound for some reason or another. The way down was brutal - no AC, got stuck near the bathroom that reeked of urine, was near some girls that never shut up - but the way back was great except for the four episodes of Sex and the City that they decided to run over the TVs. I have now seen a total of five episodes of that show, and I can't see myself tolerating of those women except for the redhead for more than five minutes. And, as Peter Griffin once so wisely said, Sarah Jessica Parker looks like a foot.

Jeremiah came home and said: "I really don't know why that *Big* puts up with that girl's bullshit."

I found that funny...I don't know.

That IS funny, 2.0. I loved that show, even though I can't stand SJP.

Crikey hell, she's so damned annoying! Friggin', she goes to a baby shower and has to rethink life, the universe and everything. She sees him going to church with his mother and has to break up with him. Her hamburger comes back well-done instead of medium and she has to freak out for a week about whether or not to call him. God, two dates and I'd have to break a chair over her freaking head.

Also--and this will really shock you--once he was aware of how much *sex* is in Sex in the City he was far less upset about having to be subjected to it.

Bullfrog -- Monday, April 3 2006, 03:21 pm

Yes, but only the sex that didn't involve any of the four of the main characters - specifically, they were watching foot-face's neighbors go at it.
