Yes, I remembered Jen is dating a dude.

New Yorkers, you ever notice the really energetic girl at the Mac store that's always giving the presentation on, like, how to use iTunes or something? That's her in the background.

2.0 and I just watched Good Night and Good Luck, and greatly enjoyed it. The parts that were, presumably, lifted straight from the old Murrow telecasts gave me chills - his somber addresses at the end of the broadcasts, challenging America to fucking think. Best we can do today is Savage Love trying to get us to think with our genitalia, and Tom Tomorrow basically quoting one of Murrow's addresses. Anyway, Good Night and Good Luck - outstanding stuff. And the tagline of 'good night and good luck,' God, how ominous is that? "Good night - and keep your gun handy." Anyway, two of the flicks nominated for best film down, three to go. Although I think Squid and the Whale or History of Violence are next.

Irish spring football starts today, hoo-ah. Blue-Gray Sky here, Charlie here, some awesome film footage of the Rocket and last year's squad here, and Marco's general insanity here.

I've never heard of Jessica Abel before this article in the Voice, but I'm kind of curious about her stuff now. I like that her class at SVA is 30-40% female. I like reading female voices in the comics page, although to the best of my knowledge, I'm not actually reading any at the moment. Guess that has to change, and I guess it m'ise well change with a Brooklynite.

Little Caesar's is planning on expanding its holdings in the Northeast. My first job was at Little Caesar's. It wasn't a bad job - I liked the people I worked with. They for some reason regarded me as the voice of reason. The store, as you may have guessed, was something of a calamity.

I've gotten a few encouraging e-mails from readers throughout Five Bucks's run, but I'm not to the size yet where I've gotten any hate mail. If anyone out there is of the persuasion to send me hate mail, please use this example as your reference point.

All I've got today, gang. More in store for tomorrow, obviously. Enjoy Lost tonight.

A little Bush article for fun:

http://news.yahoo.com/s/ap/20060318/ap_on_go_p r_wh/bush_s_straw_men

My favorite line: "It's such a phenomenal hole in the national debate that you can have arguments with nonexistent people,"

From an unrelated article,

http://www.cnn.com/2006/POLITICS/03/22/bush/in dex.html

"Now it's time for a government to get stood up," Bush said.

Unless the government in question has been kind of a dick on previous dates, my head asplode.
