Why did I run this one on a holiday? I'm bad at scheduling sometimes.

Posted: 12:01 am, Monday, January 16th

Quick little post since I've been busy all weekend and I figure most people aren't going to be at work today, anyway. Today's strip is a direct response to 2.0 being miffed at Pete for thinking about how he needed to be home before Ron got home with Starbucks girl a while back. Fairly important little development, so it's good that I run it on a day that it'll be easily overlooked. I rule like that.

My football pool fell to hell over the weekend - I knew I'd be better off not knowing the rules we were playing under. I like the Steelers next week, if only because it would be awesome for the Bus to go out in his hometown, the 313. Too bad the Bears lost yesterday, or we could have an all-time old school uniform Super Bowl, but the Panthers had to screw things up and set up the all-time new wave hideous uniform NFC Championship next weekend, instead. Oh well.

Anyway, that's all for today. We saw a good play on Friday, but I think it's final show was yesterday, so there's no hurry in talking about it. Something to look forward to for tomorrow, gang, if that's your thing.

the panthers uni's are reminiscent to the uni's of the show 'playmakers.': http://espn.go.com/eoe/playmakers/ http://imdb.com/title/tt0375411/?fr=c2l0ZT1kZn x0dD0xfGZiPXV8cG49MHxrdz0xfHE9cGxheW1ha2Vyc3xmdD0xfG14PTIwfG xtPTUwMHxjbz0xfGh0bWw9MXxubT0x;fc=1;ft=22;fm=1

great 1-year run on espn, but apparently the nfl was p.o.'ed about the portrayal of the nfl. too controversial for them. i guess that's why espn got that monday night football deal: http://sports.yahoo.com/nfl/news?slug=ap-monda ynightfootball&prov=ap&type=lgns http://sports.espn.go.com/nfl/news/story?id=20 40130

What 2.0 said. But I like the adjectivization of the name "Bush."
